【 摘 要 】
The Mn(II)/Mn(IV) system was used to achieve the bisfunctionalization of alkenes with phosphorus and chlorine in moderate to good yields. A variety of phosphinylidene-containing (P(O)H) compounds were examined. When the phosphorus reagent is limiting, the reaction yield is generally in the 40-50% range, although the structure of the organophosphorus starting material greatly influences it. The reaction is simple and inexpensive and the beta-chloro-phosphinoyl products are versatile intermediates. For example, elimination with DBU gave the corresponding alpha,beta-unsaturated phosphorus compound stereoselectively. (C) 2014 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
