Results: A total of 9 studies, which comprised a total of 664 participants were included in the finalmeta analysis. The results showed that mindfulness-based stress reduction could reduce the anxiety of patients(SMD = −1.65, 95% CI: −2.29 to −1.01), reduce the depression (SMD = −1.44, 95% CI: −1.85 to −1.03).
