【 摘 要 】

Roof load testing for two sports facilities, i.e. Arena Zagreb Hall and Varaždin Hall, is presented. It is emphasized that, in addition to regular testing, it is also important to conduct control tests during the life span of the Arena Zagreb Hall. The testing of the spatial steel roof truss of the Varaždin Hall is described. The results obtained by testing relative strain, displacement, and eigenfrequencies, are presented and compared with the numerical model.
