【 摘 要 】
The influences of Hall and ion-slip currents on peristaltic transport of Johnson-Segalman fluid in an asymmetricchannel are investigated theoretically and graphically. The problem is formulated using a perturbation method. Thesolutions have been derived for axial velocity, axial pressure gradient and pressure rise. It has been noticed that theaxial pressure gradient is not affected by increasing any of Hall or ion-slip parameters, while the time average fluxdecreases by increasing any of them. The effects of various emerging parameters on the axial pressure gradient andthe pumping characteristics are discussed and plotted.
