【 摘 要 】

With the help of FACTS devices, it is possible to regulate real and reactive power flow in the network. In this paper , in order to incorporate these devices a modification on the existing load flow is carried out. Newton-Raphson technique is used to carry out the load flow programming. The load flow results are then used for the study the effectiveness of these devices. Also a comparative study on the different types of devices(devices with different specifications )are done.
