【 摘 要 】
IoT technologies are also increasingly used in critical infrastructures. One of the most usedInternet of Things (IoT) communication technologies is LoRaWAN. This communicationprotocol provides an opportunity to design large-scale, low-power systems. Due tothe robustness of the communication, it is especially suitable for ensuring stable dataconnections in extreme terrain and environmental parameters. Our research aims todetermine the data transmission distance under different, extreme environments, as wellas the radio parameters that characterize data transmission. Based on the measurementresults, it is possible to indicate in which cases and in what way the LoRaWAN can beapplied in the aspect of critical infrastructures.
