【 摘 要 】

Slabs are defined as structural elements whose main function is the transmission of loads arising from permanent and accidental loads perpendicular to its plane. Among the various efforts to which the slab is subjected is the shear force that causes shear stress in the structural element. There are factors capable of contributing to the increase in shear strength in concrete structures without transverse reinforcement. In this context, some studies sought to analyze the influence of these factors on the shear strength gain in slabs reinforced in two directions. Therefore, the present work aimed, through numerical analysis, to understand the influence of three main parameters such as slab thickness, concrete compressive strength and longitudinal reinforcement ratio on shear strength in reinforced slabs in two directions and, by means of statistical analysis, to define which factor had the greatest contribution to this gain in shear strength. Thus, the need to define new factors for slender slabs was verified. For the group of thick slabs, the longitudinal reinforcement ratio was determined as a relevant factor, being the parameter that exerts the greatest influence on the gain in shear strength.
