【 摘 要 】
What approaches in scientific production in the librarianship-informational field link information competence and social justice for the black population? This is the problem that this article aims to answer, and for which the general objective is to reflect on social justice and the black population, under the theoretical lens of Information Competence. This work is a theoretical, bibliographic and documentary study, which is based on articles, books, book chapters and other information resources collected in the scientific literature in Librarianship and Information Science (LIS). The theoretical reflection is structured by the discussion about information literacy for social action, promoted a cartography of the discussions about capitalism, globalization and racial capitalism as instruments of injustice to black and other non-white people, and, finally, brought four strategies that compose the theory of social justice for black people, from the point of view of information literacy.
