【 摘 要 】

This article aims to bring reflections on how studies of information behavior and informational practices can contribute to the development of information literacy actions in formal, informal and non-formal information environments. With regard to methodological procedures, this study is characterized as exploratory and bibliographic research, of a qualitative nature. With regard to the analysis of the results, the selected documents were read and analyzed, carrying out the extraction and systematization of the possible relationships between the concepts of information behavior, informational practices and information competence, which culminated in the unfolding of a literature review, containing a discussion on the proposed theme. As a result, it is observed that user studies in their various approaches offer essential information to assist in the planning, implementation and realization of information literacy programs and/or actions in different places, consistent with the needs, characteristics and peculiarities of individuals. that are part of institutions and certain environments, considering formal, informal and non-formal education.
