【 摘 要 】

The chemistry of metalloenzymatic antioxidants viz. superoxidedismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), peroxidases was discussedin the first article. This second part illustrates thestructural and mechanistic aspects and antioxidant propertiesof metal-free antioxidant enzymes viz. thioredoxin, peroxiredoxin,glutathione S-transferase, and glutathione peroxidase.
