【 摘 要 】
A number of heterocyclic compounds were prepared by condensing of chalcones in ethanollic NaOHsolutions. These Heterocyclic were immediately reacted with phenyl hydrazine, hydrazine hydrate,hydroxylamine hydrochloride and thiourea to obtain the corresponding phenyl pyrazole (A1-A10)), pyrazoleacetate (B1-B10), oxazole (C1-C10) and thiopyrimidine (D1-D10) compounds. The synthesized heterocycles werecharacterized on the basis of their chemical properties and spectroscopic data (IR, NMR and MS). Thesecompounds were tested for antimicrobial and fungal activity against a variety of test organisms: Escherichia coli,Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Bacillus cereus, aspergillus niger andCandida albicans.
