This issue represents a full year of publication for The Permanente Journal’s (TPJ’s) progress in its reimagination and reformation as a multidisciplinary health care journal committed to excellence in clinical patient care, applied clinical research, health care delivery and delivery science, integrated delivery systems and quality-based and high-value care, and health services research. The journal continues to provide clinical articles selected for their application to physicians’ care of patients, in addition to its new mission in the areas of health care systems and quality and high-value care.
