【 摘 要 】

After some unforeseen circumstances with the availability of meeting facilities at Memorial University of Newfoundland, theAnnual Technical Meeting was rescheduled and held in person on April 25 and 26, 2023. However, oral presentations werealso available to be viewed virtually.This year the meeting kicked off on Tuesday morning with introductory remarks from the GAC-NL President, ZsuzsannaMagyarosi. The rest of the conference was taken up by presentations on a wide range of geoscience topics. In the followingpages, we are pleased to publish the abstracts from the oral and poster presentations. The best student presentations arerecognized and receive the “Outstanding Student Presentation Award” which consists of $100 and a certificate. The twoaward winners are indicated by an asterisk after the title.
