【 摘 要 】

Radio frequency magnetoimpedance measurements reveal a pronounced anomaly at 260 K besides the main metal-insulator transition at 125 K in the double-perovskite material La1.2Sr1.8Mn2O7. This feature is not seen clearly in static resistivity and magnetization measurements. We suggest that this anomaly represents short-range magnetic correlations enhanced at radio frequencies, with the easy axis along the c axis. [S0163-1829(99)08437-4].
