The Annual Technical Meeting was held virtually on February 21 and 22, 2022, from various home offices, dens, and bedroomsacross St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, and beyond.This year the meeting kicked off on Monday with introductory remarks from the GAC-NL President, Anne Westhues, followedby a tribute to Dave Liverman who passed away earlier this year. The rest of the conference was taken up by presentationson a wide range of geoscience topics. Monday afternoon featured a Special Session on New Developments in Mineral andPetroleum Exploration. In the following pages, we are pleased to publish the abstract from the oral presentations. The beststudent presentations are recognized and receive the “Outstanding Student Presentation Award” which consists of $100 and acertificate. The award winners are indicated by an asterisk in the title.
