Clayton County, Board of Commissioners, 140 S. Ct. 1731 (2020), the U.S. Supreme Court considered the question of sex discrimination in the workplace and held that an employer who fires an individual for being homosexual or transgender effectively violates Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
