【 摘 要 】
Objective Tracheostomy is a common procedure that requires management by a multidisciplinary team of health care providers across a range of surgical and nonsurgical specialties. Nonsurgical health care providers have demonstrated a lack of knowledge and confidence in tracheostomy care, which improve with tracheostomy education programs. However, tracheostomy care is rarely included in preresidency medical education. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of a tracheostomy care video on third-year medical students’ knowledge of and confidence in performing tracheostomy care.
