【 摘 要 】

 

 This article aims to analyze the Architectural Heritage from a rare perspective, focusing mainly on its immaterial values. The study is motivated by the vital importance of this type of property for the shaping of the identity of a particular society. Through the analysis of a series of buildings of different cultures and diverse nature, we have highlighted the difficulty involved in restoring this type of heritage, because the limits of each action will depend on the correct identification of the set of values that characterize each monument. Despite the fact that the Architectural Heritage is presented to society through its materiality, it is sometimes another type of value that acquires greater importance. It is then when the immaterial value becomes key, as it will determine the true “authenticity” of the buildings. The Nara Charter of 1994 has dealt with this problem in a generic way, allowing to respect the enormous disparity of cultures that inhabit our planet, as well as the way to face the conservation of its Architectural Heritage.
