A Intertextualidade no Videoclipe: uma abordagem discursiva e imagéticocognitiva

【 摘 要 】

Although the genre music video has becoming increasingly popular in mass media, it has not been received the proper attention by discourse studies. Aiming at fulfilling this omission and based on the primacy of interdiscourse, this work intends to describe and analyze how music video texts dialogue with other multisemiotic texts to produce meaning, particularly regarding their relations of ‘parody’, ‘pastiche’, and ‘plagiarism’. To do this, we use the notion of intericonicity and the contributions from cognitive and visual studies to understand the complex relations among music videos and several genres from artistic and audiovisual fields, suggesting a typological continuum of the relationships between verbal-visual texts and media images.
