【 摘 要 】
At the crossroads of Social Movement Theory and Discourse Analysis, the goal of this article is to describe the inherent mechanisms present in the structure and the enunciation of the mobilizing « narratives » of activist organizations for the « cause » of media in Latin America, more precisely for the recognition of « community radios » in Colombia between the end of the 1980s and the middle of the 1990s. The article thus proposes to take into account not only the explicit discursive elements, but also the ambiguity contained within activists’ stories, through an analysis of the ellipsis, and notions as implicit, blurredness and ambivalence. Based upon militant articles and texts, we show the dynamics which make possible for the leaders of a movement to develop inclusive, federating, and legitimate narratives. Contrary to some theoretical perspectives, we show that when an activist story succeeds in rallying more participants, it is often because it fails to specify and to clearly demarcate the object and the purpose of collective action.
