【 摘 要 】

A characteristic boundary-value problem for a hyperbolic equationwith power nonlinearity and iterated wave operator in theprincipal part is considered in a conical domain. Depending on theexponent of nonlinearity and spatial dimensionality of theequation, the existence and uniqueness of the solution of aboundary-value problem is established. The non-solvability of thisproblem is also considered here.
