【 摘 要 】

This paper intends to analyze the presence of themes from Classical Culture, specifically, Greek and Roman Cultures, in Machado de Assis’ Ressurreição. With that aim in mind, we tried to identify dialogic elements in this novel, intending to showcase how those elements give new meanings articulated as an important repertoire for the development of the national literary project devised by the author.
