【 摘 要 】
This article questions the status of the sci-fi television series character when confronted with his double from a parallel world. The character is analyzed as dependent on narrative structures, the fictional world, aesthetic forms, as well as the practices of the actors. The figurative analyzes deployed in this article seek to account for the various aesthetics surrounding the relations to otherness experienced by split serial characters. The episodic approach to the parallel world produces a duplication of the fictional world where an aesthetic of distinction differentiates the character from his double. The serial approach produces a multiplication of parallel worlds which does not leave the character unscathed. The latter then enters into a conflicting relationship with his double, which takes the form of bodily alienation, a phenomenon of entanglement or an aesthetic of the fold.
