【 摘 要 】

Critics usually view Don Quixote as Cervantes’s reply to Guzmán de Alfarache. From the study of the strategies aiming at building the character, this work puts forward the radical diversity of those two literary works, two works that correspond to two different narrative logical principles and that generated two models of alternative novels.
