【 摘 要 】

When Petrarch attempted to emend the text of Vatican Pal. lat. 899 (P), once it was in his possession, in all likelihood this new lesson can be found in two later direct copies, Vat. lat. 1899 (p) and Florence, Bibl. Ricc. 551 (F); and consequently, if an emendation by P is missing in these two apographs, it is because Petrarch was not the author.
