【 摘 要 】

This article reviews the three-step method of vehicle structure synthesis, which requires usuing research results of social sciences and humanities as well as natural and engineering sciences. The introduction of an additional step of structural synthesis prior to the two conventional methods provides a means of meeting the requirements of social sciences and humanities for designed units at an early stage of the engineering process.
