【 摘 要 】

Both the present author and Berthier et al. have recently presented independent analytic calculations of the restoring torque exerted on a silicon die subjected to capillary forces during self-alignment to a hydrophilic area on a substrate. In this paper, these results are developed further to reflect the correct symmetry properties required of the torque calculations over a wide range of angles.
