【 摘 要 】

Social stability is a major ultimate goal of any state’s activity. Society should strive to overcome the social dichotomy that leads to gender inequality without rejecting the distinction and diversity. The purpose of the article is to examine the complex mechanism of widespread penetration of gender inequality, to find possible ways to solve this problem. Among the methods of research we can distinguish such method as the hermeneutical one, which allows identifying and analyzing not only the obvious signs of problems, but also those ones that occur in the context of the existence of the problem. The dialectical method, which allows studying the problem in its development, was also used. Analysis and synthesis allowed establishing communication and interaction of different elements of categories «inequality» and «differences», which allowed to know the category of «power» as a whole and to establish that social institutions have consistently produced the gender inequality at all levels of society.
