【 摘 要 】
Abstract This resource on endometrial sampling and IUD placement includes multiple animations of the techniques as well as indications, contraindications, and strategies for complication management of IUD placement (e.g., Mirena and Paragard). Further, the resource contains a list of needed supplies to conduct a placement-skills session. Self-quiz questions are also included along with a knowledge acquisition assessment for use as pretest and posttest. The didactic session is designed to be followed by skills session using latex and papaya uterine models. The resource contains three videos, two PowerPoint presentations, pre-/posttest answer keys with explanations, a learner survey, a set of facilitator guidelines for setting up and evaluating student IUD placement practice session, and a skills criteria form to evaluate students. At least two facilitators per group of four trainees are needed during the skills portion of the curriculum.
