【 摘 要 】

This article focuses on the part played by the cultural naming of social actors and facts involved in the Colombian armed conflict in some cities and towns of the central Andes. It shows the figurative strength of words to locate them and define them according to various types of sociocutural and political features. This effort to name them is linked with the natives’ intent to build a basic notion of person from the actors of the conflict so as to territorialize them, to locate them, and thus to be connected with them or incorporate them in a narative, according to circumstances. This is a recurrent strategy which is, in terms of research, one of the most significant tools to understand the conflict and, in many cases, to try to overcome it. Rather than a resistance strategy, it is a daily sociocultural mechanism of « recycling » of the armed conflict. The methodology used includes a direct field work, interviews with scholars who research the field in Colombia, workshops, a review of the press and secondary literature, as well as local statistics.
