Anthropology of postmodernity: a view through the prism of mobility systems

【 摘 要 】

The aim of the article is to examine the anthropological challenges of a new paradigm, ready to replace the paradigm of Modernity, and to study its distinctive features. Achieving this aim involves the solution of several research tasks, such as the analysis of how postmodern anthropology agenda has been formed from several methodological perspectives; the development of the anthropology models based on the theoretical basis of paradigmatic analysis; the research of "mobility systems", the superposition of the models proposed, their interactions and combinations. The methodology of the research should be consistent with the complexity of the object under study, therefore a two-level methodological model has been chosen. First of all, anthropological issues of postmodernity has been considered through the lenses of paradigmatic analysis, and after that the results obtained were additionally studied through the prism of the phenomenon of "mobility systems", for which the developments of the scientific school of "mobile sociology" have been involved. Among the results of the research, it is necessary to designate the following. Firstly, the prerequisites for the anthropological crisis have been revealed at the stage of extensive Modernity development, so to associate them nothing but with the gradual erosion of Modernity ontological foundations turned out to be a wrong path. Secondly, an anthropological project of the postmodern concept of homo dividualis has been formulated, with its attributes being outlined. Thirdly, an interpretation of the homo mobilis concept has been proposed, which appears to become another anthropological project of the future, but not an image of "a person on the move", as it tends to be interpreted in the traditional socio-philosophical discourse.
