【 摘 要 】

Effortstofindanationalidentitybasedonlocalwisdomare important. The house which was established with asocial gathering(arisan) system in Sako Village districtBanyuasin is one of the local wisdoms. Social gathering is an economic system drawn from traditional Indonesian customs which emphasizes the principle of cooperation and kinship. Until now, social gathering is still widely used by Indonesian people. However, it is not known who first triggered this system, and when this system came into use. As well as various Social gatheringin Sako village. Social gatheringin these villages haslongevolvedfrommonthlyandannualsocialgatheringintheformof savings social gathering, farming social gathering, celebration social gatheringorcelebrationandgatheringofbuildingmaterials.Thehouse established by the Sako villagers was the result of mutual cooperation in the formofsocialgathering.Thisresearchisintendedtoexaminethelocal wisdomofthepeopleinSakovillage,inbuildinghousesusingthe Social gatheringsystem. This type of qualitativeresearchwith acase study approachwasusedinthisstudy.Themethodofdatacollectionisdoneby observation and in-depth discussion. This article is focused on explaining that social capital in a variety of social security functions that are running plays a role in saving and participating in social networks
