【 摘 要 】

The text analyses the worldwide globalization phenomenon. In this sense, it reflects on the historical significanceof this event, on its causes and its most important metaphors, without forgetting to examine if the globalization phenomenon is a fact or rather an ideological construct of the hegemonic groups. Furthermore, the article reflects on the globalization impact concerning the modern nation-state and the development process.
