【 摘 要 】
Regional distribution of soybean production was analyzed by municipalities in Vojvodina, according to the average harvested area of soybean and its yields (2001-2010). In defining the localities which gravitate towards equal yields, municipalities in Vojvodina are classified into seven homogenous groups. It highest yields (over 2.75 t/ha) were recorded in Temerin and Srbobran. Nearly 67% of soybean harvested areas give yields above provincial average (2.51 t/ha), out of which 52% are in Bačka, 13% in Srem and only 2% are in Banat. Thus, Bačka is the most suitable region for soybean production. Higher yield per hectare affects a larger harvested soybean area (ρ =0.63). There is significant, but rather weak correlation between arable land capacities and harvested soybean areas (ρ=0.44). It is clear that as the competitive crop soybean has a significant role in the sowing structure even in the municipalities with limited capacity of arable land.
