【 摘 要 】
International Image Interoperability Framework (IIIf), is a project developed since 2011 by the Bodleian Library, the British Library and the Stanford University Library in order to enhance the usability of digital images stored in archives available through the Web. Using specific API, IIIF outlines a new information ecosystem to deal with heterogeneity problems of management and access to various silos containing digital images, improving response times and operations for users. Participation in the project of some of the most important libraries shows the great interest around what could constitute a true revolution in the way to travel and enjoy the immense cultural heritage digitized already available via the Web.
