【 摘 要 】

This work, through documentary and literature review aims at analysing the constituent process of 1987-88 as a turning point in the framework of representation of the interests of business groups in the country's policies. This observation confirms the link between the proliferation of business associations and the inefficient representation of the Federation of São Paulo State Industries in the National Constituent Assembly.
