【 摘 要 】
The author analyses the ways by which a group of HIV+ activists make their experience meaningful and connect it to politics. The focus is on meaning and interpretation elaborated by the group; hence, the emergence of a native model that congregates disease and politics based on common categories is seen as part of an activist subjectivity production process and a dislocation strategy in relation to the margin. The research focused, to a great extent, on the narratives analysis -the narrative act considered as a moment when common experiences could be shared and reelaborated under the perspective of a collective subject. Within a view of the narratives, activism is understood as a theory about the world and as an experienced reality. For the author; these theories are founded on categories, which sustain and attribute meaning to experiences. It is also in this way that this model understands dimensions belonging to the person and his/her embodiment and how they are experienced from an activist perspective.
