【 摘 要 】

Self-determination is, both in its form and changing thickness, an integral element of our old European culture. The promises and the practice it involves threaten todisappear and to weaken under globalization and complexity. Adapted at the current times,there are, however, different reasons and paths for its understanding and preservation.
