【 摘 要 】
This paper presents aspects related to tourism and night visitation in Brazilian national parks, and prospects for its development. Although aspects of night management are most frequent in urban offers, it is important to identify the proposals for night visitation in national parks, as well as to verify the possibilities in the public use of these spaces in this sort of tourism activity. Amid 72 national parks investigated, only ten perform some kind of nocturnal activity, developed as an innovative proposal for visitors. Most activities are trails, walks, and wildlife observation. However, for the consolidation of this alternative in ecotourism, the management team of these parks recognizes the need for studies to create guidelines for night visitation in protected areas, in order to offer visitors security, conservation in the area, and quality management by of the organizers.
