【 摘 要 】

The article researches the concept of the export potential, the approaches to its definition and the conditions of its formation at an enterprise. The authors identify the levers that will stimulate the development of the export potential at an enterprise. The paper shows the need to improve and increase the export potential for the most promising entering foreign markets, the emergence of opportunities to compete in international markets. The authors introduce four scientific and technical approaches to determine the export potential. Such approaches consider the potential in terms of four definitions: structural, causal, functional and comparative. The article proposes the description of the factors influencing upon the formation of the export potential at an enterprise. It is proved that despite of the changes in the environment the export potential remains unchanged, it says about the necessity to create and maintain it all the at an enterprise for further development.
