【 摘 要 】

This article examines the possibilities and difficulties pertaining to the relationships between judges and economists. Firstly, they assign different ends to collective reasoning and action, and their methodologies and their intellectual views differ sharply. Secondly, economics allows for doubts and controversial issues, while the judge has to ensure certainty and security. Finally, they evolve within different geographical and political frames.
