【 摘 要 】

The aim of this study was to describe the conception of nursing professionals working in the Mobile Emergency Care Service (SAMU) on quality of life. A descriptive, qualitative study carried out on a decentralized basis of SAMU in northwestern Paraná-PR. We interviewed 17 nursing professionals in the period of August 2015. For the analysis of the information, we used the Bardin content analysis technique. The thematic categories were: nursing professionals’ conception of quality of life and factors that facilitate and impede the quality of life in the view of nursing professionals. It was observed, through the participants’ answers, that remuneration is the most important factor in quality of life, and other concerns arise, such as working conditions, family, leisure and food. In the design of professionals, quality of life is the well-being in different areas of life such as work, housing, education, health, family and leisure.
