【 摘 要 】

Spanish students learning French as a foreigner language fall often in false equivalence when using the continuous form. To avoid this tendency, it is necessary to analyse the phenomenon going through a study from a contrastive point of view. Particular attention will be paid to gerund form with the purpose toinvestigate if both Spanish and French gerunds are always different or if it may exist a correspondence within them. Some guidelines will be given.
