Effect of the breeding environment on egg production and quality of laying hens' eggs 031 in the Embrapa

【 摘 要 】

The objective of this work was to evaluate the zootechnical indexes and egg characteristics of the laying hens 031 of EMBRAPA created in different phases or ages and 3 different environment systems, the environments being one shed in floor and two in cages (in shed 1 and 2) Of different dimensions. The variables evaluated were: feed intake, egg production, mean egg weight, and feed conversion. A total of 105 birds were used, 35 in each shed. For evaluations on bird performance, they occurred in five stages with 44, 48, 52, 56 and 60 weeks. As for egg quality, the data were obtained in 15 phases, or ages (45, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59 and 60). The variables anality were: number of dozens of eggs, mean weight of egg and number of eggs cracked. The data found were compared with the values of the manual of the lineage created. The design was DIC and egg quality averages were obtained by descriptive statistics. For the performance of the birds was carried out a factorial scheme with 3 environments and 5 ages. The data when meanings are described in regression analysis. It is possible to produce eggs of optimal quality and with poederias presenting a good performance and productive increase created in floor. The lineage 031 of Embrapa show good adaptation in floor and cage.
