【 摘 要 】

At the beginning of the 21st century food production per capita has not increased and foodhas become important strategic good. In future uncertain conditions of unstable food supplyat global level, the issue of local, regional and state self-sufficient food supply has been evermore important. Slovenia’s local production does not cover the country’s needs for the agriculturalfood products. Nevertheless, expert assessments show that Slovenia has sufficientlybig potentials in farming lands to essentially improve its food security by the year 2030.
