【 摘 要 】

The Holy Quran is not a book of science and medicine. Its main objective is creating a bond between human beings and their Creator which in turn will lead to the success of humanity in this world and their salvation in the afterworld. However, we do find many verses in the Holy Quran which contain, explicitly or implicitly, which contain some scientific information that can be tested and verified. As the science moves forward, different parts of the Holy Quran have been testified and it is now much easier to understand some verses of this Holy Book that was revealed more than fourteen hundred(1400) years ago. In the current research paper, the importance of olive (Oleum oliviae) has been highlighted. The nutritional value of olive plant, its leaves and olive oil has been elaborated in this study in the light of the findings of food experts and nutritionists.
