【 摘 要 】

The article presents comparative analysis of the concept “politeness” in Kazakh and German linguo-cultures, attempts to detect and analyze general and specific features in the content of the concept “politeness” in these linguo-cultures, using associative experiment. The analysis of the associative experiment shows that politeness is one of the most important concept in Kazakh and German mentality, interpretation of politeness as behavioral explication of respect is dominating.
