【 摘 要 】

O presente artigo analisa alguns aspectos do panorama histórico cultural da língua portuguesa no Brasil no século XVI, a partir da perspectiva da Historiografia Linguística. O presente artigo avalia, também, as possibilidades de relação entre a linguagem e os domínios da gramática nessa época.

The present article analyzes some aspects of historic and cultural scene of Portuguese Language in Brazil in the sixteenth century from the perspective of the Linguistic Historiography. The present article also analyzes the relationship between language and Portuguese grammar in the sixteenth century.
