【 摘 要 】

El VIH/sida constituye, en el momento actual, un serio problema a nivel mundial. Los adolescentes forman uno de los grupos más vulnerables y de mayor riesgo para esta enfermedad, de ahí el interés de valorar la influencia de una intervención educativa en el desarrollo de conocimientos y percepción de riesgo en estudiantes de 12mo grado de la Escuela Militar Camilo Cienfuegos, de Matanzas, en el curso 2007-2008. Para cumplir el objetivo trazado, se realizó un estudio epidemiológico de tipo intervención educativa, empleando como metodología la educación de pares a través de la formación de facilitadores, con la aplicación de un test inicial y al final de la investigación. Para ello se diseñó un programa compuesto por cuatro etapas que incluyeron: diagnóstico, selección de facilitadores, desarrollo y evaluación. Como resultado del diagnóstico, el grado de conocimiento y la percepción del riesgo fueron considerados como deficientes, las creencias no mostraron variación y en las actitudes un alto por ciento no practica sexo protegido. Esto sirvió de herramienta para la intervención educativa, la cual se realizó a través de la preparación de facilitadores y educación de pares entre los mismos estudiantes. Finalmente, se midieron los resultados de la intervención educativa aplicando nuevamente el test. Como resultado, se logró incrementar el grado de conocimientos y la percepción del riesgo. Independientemente que no lograron clasificar estos a su máximo nivel, se reportó un incremento significativo de los mismos. Como recomendación se sugirió aplicar esta metodología educativa en el trabajo con los grupos más afectados en la provincia de Matanzas.
HIV/AIDS is, currently, a serious problem around the world. Teenagers are one of the most vulnerable risk groups for this disease, and that is the reason of the interest in evaluating the influence of an educative intervention for developing knowledge and risk perception in 12 th grade students of the Military School Camilo Cienfuegos, of Matanzas, during the 2007-2008 school year. To reach the intended aim, we made an epidemiologic study, educative intervention type, using as methodology the pair education through the formation of facilitators, applying an initial test and another at the end of the investigation. For that we designed a program in four stages including: diagnosis, facilitator's selection, development and evaluation. As a result of the diagnosis, knowledge level and risk perception were considered deficient, beliefs did not show any variation and the attitudes showed that a high percent does not practice protected sex. This was the tool for the educative intervention, carried out through preparing facilitators and educating pairs among the same students. Finally, we assessed the results of the educative intervention applying a new test. As result, we successfully increased the level of knowledge and the risk perception of the students. Although they did not reach the maximum level, there was a significant increase in those indexes. As recommendation we suggest applying this educative intervention in the work with the most affected groups in the province of Matanzas.
