【 摘 要 】

This paper is based on the investigation I realized in a Parisian neighborhood. The focus is on analyzing the link between the integration of some urban areas to “Politique de la ville” and the heterogeneity of youth work. Going against a unitary representation of this activity sector and emphasizing a perspective which doesn’t separate volunteers from employees, graduates from self-taught and inhabitants from the others, this spatial and relational analysis of social work is necessary to an understanding of youth category social uses and, consequently, of the youth socialization conditions in such areas.
